Testimonials
‘At Kentish Town Church of England Primary School, we have been using GES Simply Letters and Sounds SSP since September 2021. Teachers and Teaching Assistants have found the lesson plans and resources to be thorough and easy to use. The positive impact on our children’s attainment is clear in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. We have also had training from Raj Mehta, which has been very positively received by the whole staff. I would wholeheartedly recommend GES Simply Letters and Sounds.’
- James Humphries, Headteacher, Kentish Town Church of England Primary School, Camden.
'I am very pleased with the whole package of plans, resources and support that comes with GES Simply Letters and Sounds. As a pilot school, we have been on the journey with the SSP and I can honestly say I am very happy with it. The plans are detailed yet concise and clearly direct and support the teachers regardless of prior experience of teaching phonics.
At the beginning I was a little unsure how well the SSP would suit our children however, as the pilot progressed, it became clear that the stripped back, no gimmick, and targeted approach to teaching phonics suited us down to the ground. The recent addition of planning for keep-up sessions has further strengthened this SSP in my opinion.
I can honestly say that GES Simply Letters and Sounds has been a revelation and is a welcomed addition to our approach to teaching Early Reading. Well done and thank you Raj!'
